The position

As our new Project Manager, you will coordinate HR and Payroll&Benefits projects execution within Regional & Global remit including but not limited to transformations and transitions. The role is also to ensure project completion within target timelines and minimal business disruption.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing one or multiple projects according to the methodology with close cooperation with the RSC EMEA Development Lead, Payroll & Benefits Team, askHR Team and other Global/Regional teams. Provide project support if necessary for any other projects
  • Optimise HR and Payroll & Benefits processes and services according to principals
  • Build and maintain a strong collaboration and communication with all internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to growth, motivation of the teams as well as team spirit

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have minimum bachelor’s degree in Project Management, business, Finance, HR, or similar area and have fluency in English (speaking & writing).

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum of  3-4 years experience within Project Management, preferably from HR / Payroll Shared Services function;
  • Must have certification in project management: IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2, SCRUM;
  • Experience in managing projects delivery, transitions or transformations ;
  • Good presentatin skills
  • Ideally also cross-cultural experience working closely with colleagues in different regions, global collaboration as an asset

On personal level, the ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills to drive process standardisation, optimisation and continuous improvements with strong customer mindset and solid business understanding. As a person, you need to have excellent communication and presentation skills which are essential to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of organization as well as being proactive, entrepreneurial and working independently with a can-do attitude.

About the department

We are on an exciting journey towards expanding our HR Regional Service Centre for Europe in Warsaw. The ambition for the Regional Service Centre is to provide professional HR operational service and guidance to the approx. 4.000 employees working in Novo Nordisk in the different countries in Europe. The askHR Europe unit is the first point of contact for all people inquiries and the team also contributes to the development of new global processes and systems including new digital solutions.

The Regional Service Centre is co-located with the Business Area office for Europe East and the Polish affiliate. With annual budgeted sales level of over 700 million DKK and with 130 employees in the Polish affiliate the company ambition is to continuously improve quality of patients’ life and bring innovation into the markets.
