The position

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends and patterns within data sets.

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to present data insights clearly.

Address data quality issues and ensure the integrity of data used in analyses.

Engage in continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in data analytics.

  • Data Management and Quality Control:

Assist in maintaining databases and data systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for analysis.

Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure that data collection methods meet the necessary standards and requirements.

Support the implementation of data strategies and contribute to data process improvements.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant data insights based on an agile approach.

  • Assist in the communication of analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

Certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) are a plus

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with data analysis experience in the biopharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Proven ability to conduct complex data analysis and modeling on large data sets.
  • Strong at designing and creating data reports using various reporting tools to help LoB make decisions by applying statistical analysis and use data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel etc. to glean meaningful insights for given dataset.
  • Rich experience on Data warehouse and Data Lake solutions
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, working familiarity with a variety of databases, e.g. MSSql, Mysql, postgreSql, Cassandra and HBase;CosmosDB; MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/ELK, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of DevOps and methodologies and tools using GIT, CI/CD
  • Practical experience in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problem analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML in following areas is a big plus, CV, NLP, Time-Series, familiar with open-source tools like, scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch,etc.
