The Position

As a Global Programme Lead in Development Sustainable Business, you will be part of shaping the strategic approach to our sustainable global expansion and capacity planning. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders in line of business to scope, define, and execute the Programme strategy in close collaboration with colleagues from various functions.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Defining the global conceptual programme including several project tracks
  • Driving cross-functional projects and change initiatives of high complexity
  • Directing communication towards stakeholders including senior leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and buy-in
  • Designing and facilitating highly engaging workshops to solicit foundational understanding to guide decision making
  • Identifying and assessing potential new locations in relevant geographies
  • Overseeing execution, ensuring a coordinated effort across areas and that we jointly progress towards the strategic ambition levels defined by executive management

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Master in a relevant field in combination with 5+ years relevant work experience, preferably from a global company and / or management consulting
  • Extensive programme- and project management expertise with a strong, proven track record of driving projects of a strategic nature, also covering change management  elements as well as implementation.
  • Experience with collaboration across functions and organisational levels including experience in interacting with senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Solid analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Scientific / medical understanding is an advantage but not a requirement.

About the department

Development is an Executive Vice President area in Novo Nordisk responsible for developing and maturing innovative treatment solutions in the form of drugs, devices, and digital companions to improve lives of people with diabetes and other serious chronic diseases, with a strong ambition to be the best in the world at doing this.

 

In Development Sustainable Business we drive the Sustainability and Diversity & Inclusion agenda, combined with our capacity and global footprint planning and execution. In addition, we are responsible for site coordination and management of local Danish sites, and offer on-site technical and facility support.
