The position

As our new Global Portfolio Strategy Associate Director, you will be responsible for developing a global portfolio launch framework. You will do this by driving insights based on market insights, industry best practices and facilitating working groups across the organisation.

 

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Work closely with different stakeholders across the organisation in your pursuit of developing the portfolio launch framework.
  • Be able to work in a big matrix organization, collaborating with global functions, especially commercial, operations and medical affairs, to ensure that relevant insights are accounted for in the strategy.
  • Engage with regions and markets to ensure robust input and executional feasibility of proposed strategies.

 

The position reports to the Head of Portfolio Deployment and Optimisation.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree within e.g. business administration, economics, marketing, public health, or a business master
  • Relevant experience from working with project management and/or strategy development.
  • Experience working with a headquarters perspective.
  • It is an advantage if you have previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry and with launch planning and/or excellence.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

We do this, by identifying and analysing high-impact portfolio dilemmas and opportunities, by outlining discrete options and providing portfolio-based recommendations, and by assessing the future landscape to ensure that the decisions we make today drive the desired impact in the future.
