The position

As a Business Partner, you will be acting as an internal consultant, operating in the intersection between data analytics, process optimisation, strategic support and project management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generate insights to drive decision-making | You will proactively engage and work with stakeholders across the Data Science organisation to identify opportunities to develop and mature business intelligence solutions and deliver actionable insights
  • Drive Data Science transformation efforts | You will analyse business data and work closely with subject matter experts to provide recommendations, particularly via business cases, e.g. map business drivers and forecast workload, identify bottlenecks in current processes and map opportunities for improvement
  • Advise senior management | You will facilitate workshops and engage with senior stakeholders to understand processes and business drivers where you should feel comfortable facilitating and challenge the discussion
  • Communicate complex solutions | You will be communicating advanced data-based analyses to stakeholders across the organisation, both written and verbally


In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the clinical portfolio and data science related activities. You are expected to think and act as a trusted and proactive sparring partner to the organisation, and you will experience a steep learning curve as well as opportunities for exposure to various parts of our organisation.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or a related field, with a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in business analysis, strategic planning, project management or a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving skills with curiosity to understand and dive into problems systematically while focusing on the overall purpose and end goal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to interact with people at all levelsof the organisation
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and recommendations that support strategic decision-making
  • Experience from a large and complex organisation is an asset. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is considered an additional strength
  • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau and/or Alteryx), Agile project management and/or utilising LEAN principles, is a benefit
  • Written and spoken English at business level.
  • Competent user of Excel and PowerPoint
