The POSITION

To provide support to the Product Safety group by providing administrative help. To help track day to day trends and administrative workload.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures the timely submission of all Adverse Event (AE) reports to Health Canada
  • Works on Global system to input compliance data for NNCI
  • Tracks SDEA contracts to facilitate sign off and to help track contracts per vendor
  • Support preparation, distribution and tracking of compliance reports, safety reports/information requested by internal customers/external customers
  • Helps to setup and maintain dashboards that help track/trend KPIs and deliverables in Product Safety
  • Support the maintenance of local Product Safety Standard Operating Procedures, manuals and Work Instructions
  • Performs tasks as assigned by management

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Works in an open-office environment with exposure to multiple demands, deadlines and constant interruptions. Little exposure to hazards while performing the duties of the job.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school completion plus a specialized technical or business course
  • Strong communication report writing, organization and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Management
  • Strong commitment to accuracy and details is critical
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to interact with staff, clients and key stakeholders
  • Team player; great communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to multi-task under tight deadlines
  • Organized
  • Flexible and ready for change
  • High level of integrity
  • Bilingual (French - English) 
  • Requiered experience 0-2 years in patient safety
