The Position

As a Product Stability Scientist, you will work closely with colleagues in Manufacturing Development Life Cycle Management (MDev LCM), and you’ll be responsible for supporting the daily operation of stability studies. Problem solving in collaboration with relevant stakeholders will be a part of your responsibilities.

 

The main tasks will be to:

  • Plan and initiate stability studies in close collaboration with our technicians.
  • Prepare protocols and reports that document the quality of our products.
  • Continuously evaluate the quality of the product with base in the results of our studies.
  • Take part in preparation of instructions that secure improvement of product quality. 
  • Manage deviations and prepare change request cases.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in science within pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, or similar field.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and GMP regulations.
  • Experience within the field of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control, Quality Control or similar will be a plus.
  • Experience within oral formulation and tablet production will be a plus.
  • Good communication skills in both oral and written English, knowledge of Danish is a plus.

About the Department

Emerging Technologies (ET) is a newly established SVP area in Novo Nordisk. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets. ET is well-known for having a pioneering spirit as well as a curious and daring approach and we play a key role in developing and producing future treatments for millions of patients around the world.

 

Our department, Manufacturing Development Life Cycle Management employs approximately 45 highly skilled and motivated employees with the missions to maintain and optimize products on the market. Our growing portfolio currently holds solid-dose products within Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), diabetes and obesity. We support production sites in Denmark, US, Japan & Algeria. Our offices are located in Høje Taastrup and Måløv. Høje Taastrup will be the primary workplace from September 2024.
