About the department
Formulation & Delivery is dedicated to delivery of formulations and analyses of all molecular modalities for preclinical studies within all therapeutic areas in Global Research, furthermore, we secure compound logistics. We utilise the most advanced biophysical and pharmaceutical technologies to achieve quality in what we deliver. We work closely together with scientists in pharmacology and technology inside Novo Nordisk as well as with both industry and academic partners outside Novo Nordisk.
 
The position
As a Laboratory Technician in Formulation & Delivery your main objective will be to secure formulations and analyses for in vivo and/or in vitro studies of peptides and proteins, as well as other molecular formats. You will be part of interdisciplinary workflows comprising diverse competencies and disciplines in our R&D organization.


Your primary tasks will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and conducting experiments collaboratively with scientists to support research and drug development.
  • Leveraging laboratory expertise in protein chemistry and formulation.
  • Applying understanding of in vivo studies and prioritizing animal welfare.
  • Reporting all experiments meticulously in electronic lab notebooks.
  • Performing tasks beyond these primary responsibilities as needed.


This job will offer you a high level of independency and flexibility and you will work closely together with other departments in Denmark or our research sites outside Denmark.
 
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we imagine that:

  • You are educated as laboratory technician or equivalent
  • You have hands on experience, or strong willingness to learn about protein chemistry, biophysics, formulation or analysis of proteins or peptides. 
  • You enjoy working with and have a flair for various IT-tools.
  • You can communicate comfortably in English - both orally and in writing.


Experience or interest in automation of laboratory processes is an advantage.
