The Position

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play an essential role in the successful implementation of new technology standards as we continue to build new production facilities around the globe. Our team covers the areas of Formulation, Inspection, Filling, Facility & Maintenance and Utilities & HVAC, all of which need talented project managers to drive progress and innovation.
 

Your responsibility will be to drive the Work-Package deliverables of an area, while supporting the overall project goals of delivering a world class solution in a time frame that challenges the traditional approach. This requires engaging with the Work Package Owners (WPO) of other technical areas, Subject Matter Experts (SME), international stakeholders and harvesting the inherent experiences of the company and combining the input with state-of-the-art aseptic production technology. 


Your key tasks will include:

•    Project management of tasks within your work package including design of future technical solutions and process flows with focus on adherence to the aseptic standards and authority requirements.
•    Preparing documentation and management of test execution and validation of activities within your area of responsibilities (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ).
•    Coordination with Quality Assurance (QA) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) and coordinating responsibility for designing and implementation equipment.
•    Coordination and alignment with local and global WPO peers.
 
As many of the tasks are new, the designing and describing of the processes will all be executed in close collaboration with pharma consultants, engineering SME’s and the other project members or specialists within the area.  

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to travel to our global sites which includes sites based in Denmark, France, US, Brazil, and China. Travel is to be expected for the position.
 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you to have:
•    A BSc. or MSc. degree from a relevant field of study.
•    Significant project management experience from technical or complex projects.
•    A flair for indirect leadership and the ability to create results in a global stakeholder landscape with many different actors. 
•    A quality mindset and a drive to create the “right” solutions while challenging the status quo supported with data.
•    An excellent command of verbal and written English.

 

Additionally, it is considered a huge advantage if you have:
•    Experience with driving design processes, documentation for qualification and implementation of new equipment.
•    Experience with aseptic process production design and GMP.

About the Department

Our department, Technology Standards, is situated in the newly created SVP area of Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 25.000 of Novo Nordisk’s more than 60.000 employees.
 
Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a clear global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
