The position

As a Senior Finance & Operations Director, you will be in charge for the end-to-end management of financial processes in the Israeli affiliate. You will act as the strategic finance partner to the Israeli leadership team where you will drive and implement the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk Israel.

 

Your main duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Planning, optimizing, and facilitating the financial planning processes, ensuring high-quality annual budgets and rolling estimates.
  • Ensuring patient treatment continuity through robust supply chain organization, leading the S&OP process and ensuring proactive management of supply/demand balances, quotas, and effective communication to the commercial functions.
  • Leading the digital, data, and IT agenda in and for the Israeli affiliate, ensuring continuous development of the digital ecosystem in alignment with the business needs.
  • Overseeing the procurement area, front key RFPs and negotiations as well as ensuring a solid procurement mindset in the organization.
  • Managing the Commercial responsibility for Palestine Authority

 

Qualifications

As a person, you are a dynamic individual that is able to thrive through uncertainty. You are capable of seamlessly managing multiple tasks with efficiency and precision in a very fast-paced work environment.

 

Additionally you will have:

 

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics or business administration, CPA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in financial management and budgeting, strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Experience as Leadership Team member from a multinational matrix organization would be ideal.
  • Min. 3-5 years of people management experience and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • We expect our candidates to be able to communicate effectively in English, discuss strategies in a way that impacts key stakeholders building trusted relationships and driving change.

 

About the department

The Israel affiliate is a part of the Region South East Europe, Middle East & Africa (SEEMEA). You will report directly to the General Manger and will be responsible for a team of 15 employees across 5 departments: Accounting and Taxation, Commercial Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis, Digital Data & IT and Procurement. You will be a member of NN Israel Leadership Team, Region SEEMEA F&O Leadership Team, co-driving to different regional projects.
