The position

As an RMA, you will be providing medical and scientific support for doctors and other healthcare professionals. In addition, you will be ensuring Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and specialists are aware and understand the scientific basis and clinical usefulness of our compounds within cardiovascular diseases.

 

Your main accountabilities will be:

  • Interacting (80% field-based) with healthcare professionals (HCPs), with a special focus on Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management, to gather insights, and feedback, disseminate medical data, enhance engagement, increase advocacy, and provide medical information support for inquiries
  • Collaborating proactively in a cross-functional team environment providing essential medical knowledge and periodic training to internal stakeholders staying informed about the regulatory environment and ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and regulations
  • Demonstrating strong organizational and entrepreneurial business approach with a strategic mindset to effectively provide input contribute to medical strategy and ensure swift execution of medical plans
  • Driving the design and implementation of clinical trials, Real World Evidence (RWE), and investigator-initiated studies while closely collaborating with the clinical research team on ongoing clinical trials
  • Attending scientific conferences, symposia, and other relevant local and global events to stay updated on medical advancements and competitor activities

 

Qualifications

As an RMA, you will need to have a strong knowledge of medical and scientific principles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiences. Familiarity with clinical trial design and execution with a proven ability to analyze, interpret, and present scientific data and literature.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • A medical degree (MD or equivalent) is strongly preferred. A post-graduate degree is a plus for pharmaceutical sciences background candidates
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry is prioritized
  • Specialty medicine, oncology, or rare disease therapy area experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 50% or more)
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
