About the department

The Strategic Diabetes Commercial Communications role is part of the Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS) unit at Novo Nordisk. The Commercial GBS – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. In the Diabetes Therapeutic Area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising of both launch and life-cycle management brand.

 

The Position

Responsible for leading and supporting key product lifecycle initiatives for mature insulin brands. Develop and execute project plans. Deliver timely completion of projects and key deliverables. Develop recommendations for endorsement by the Global Project Team and senior leadership. Shape key projects to set the long-term future of Novo Nordisk’s mature insulin portfolio.

 

  • Supporting on the future durable device platform(s) strategy and lead on re-inventing the insulin experience by piloting promising digital health solutions.
  • Supporting the valuation of lifecycle management activities and lead in project managing the development and finalization of the TPPs.
  • Support and lead in designing and executing on key workshops and project management to explore the insulin business model in 2024, also Supporting in the writing, review and finalization of the PDP.
  • Be a key member of a small team that plans and executes the In-market Insulin GPT meetings and Ad-hoc activities to secure ongoing availability and approval of insulin brands.
  • Budgets and reporting and Project Management.

 

Qualifications

  • A degree preferably in life sciences; an MBA degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years in Marketing/Project Management/ Healthcare market research/ consulting related experience within pharmaceutical market insight industry.
  • Internal and External stakeholder management.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (VBA, pivot etc.) and MS Word is a must.
  • Ability to develop accurate short and long-term plans.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills to ensure timely execution and follow-up.
  • Planning, Execution and Follow-Up - effectively prioritizes and spends his/her time and the time of other on what is important and Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process.
  • Ability to get an overview of data sets and interpret results, generate insights and recommend strategies.
  • The candidate is expected to exhibit a high degree of flexibility and agility as the nature & timing of the assignment of deliverables keeps changing with the ever-changing business dynamics.
  • Demonstrate capability to take ownership and accountability of deliverables assigned and deliver within tight deadlines.
