About the department

Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007 and is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

 

The Position

This role will be responsible for ensuring all the process is delivered with high quality along with active participation in monthly meetings with stakeholders and implementing action plans and also in key learnings meeting in the FP&A team. Along with this, the role will also involve the below mentioned responsibilities:

 

  • Closing the financial books for Comp. 1000 inventory and COGS in compliance with accounting principles and reporting to corporate functions according to internal guidelines.
  • Responsible for correct cost price calculation, validation, and governance of Product Supply products in NN AB process and reporting of Inventory valuation and COGS impact.
  • Calculation and determination of Global Full Manufacturing Costs, variable cost and full cost in NN.
  • Responsible for Product Supply Sarbox compliance, support on the monthly & budget allocations and follow up on the interface accounts and perform reconciliations.
  • Responsible for raw material deviation controlling and performing MEC activities including analysing & calculation of accruals/reposting.

 

Qualifications 

  • Master’s in finance, ICWA, CMA (or equivalent) from a well-recognised institute.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience working in manufacturing accounting, product costing.
  • Solid understanding within the field of production accounting and finance.
  • Proficient with PC-tools, extensive knowledge of MS Office, SAP ECC, SAP BW
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations despite uncertainties and pressure.
  • Proactiveness, self-propelled and ability to handle and prioritise several tasks.
  • Fluent in oral and written English with good communication, presentation skills and a team player.
