The position

As a Manager-Endpoint Security in the Global Information Security Advisory department at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to manage specialized teams delivering security operations globally. You will be a part of Global Information Security – GBS (Global Business Service) and shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the End Point Security tower. You will be a member of the Global DD & IT GBS-India Managers team. Your primarily tasks will include:

  • Manage a team of Security specialists, architects, administrators, and application supporters for Global End Point Security Technologies Towers. These include teams from EDR, Anti-malware, Log collection, Application whitelisting, etc. Ensure strong people management and nurture talent within the department.
  • Be responsible for the budget of the department and systems in scope. Serve as the point of contact for audits/inspections and ensure compliance of systems/products in the department.
  • Drive the delivery of quality and set the direction for the Global Security Organization. Collaborate with management members to drive the Global Security Operations strategy.
  • Manage communication and alignment with LOB stakeholders, management teams, system owners, project owners, and business process owners.
  • Manage all people-related tasks, including performance assessments, individual development plans, bonuses, salary reviews, and providing feedback. Conduct regular 1:1 meeting with reporting employees. Drive performance and efficiency with a focus on talent management to maintain low attrition rates.
  • Manage people budgets for employees in coordination with the Head of Global Information Security, India.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, data science, information security, or another relevant field.
  • Overall 9+ years of experience in IT with relevant +6 years of Service Management experience of Global Services.
  • +5 years of relevant domain knowledge within IT Security like end point, cyber security, infrastructure security etc.
  • 3+ years of people management and leadership experience. Proven track record as a functional lead in Security area and experienced in leading the team of manager & specialist within a large matrix organization.
  • Must exhibit good experience in service & operations management, budgeting, escalation, and stakeholder management. Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong hold on security framework and security best practices. Good knowledge on security tools and services.
  • Self-managed with a positive outlook, strong personal drive, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.

The Global Information Security Advisory department is based in Digital, Data, and IT (DD&IT) in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in India, Denmark, and USA. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, Acquisitions & Integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance. We partner with the line of business across the value chain to build security into the business processes, collaborating with specialists in other areas including Enterprise Architects and Data Specialists.
