The position

As a Global Project Manager – ESG at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Drive key processes by analyzing environmental data and developing environmental assessments.
  • Support the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
  • Collaborate with the ESG Strategy & Intelligence team to enhance the company’s ratings and engage with ESG raters, rankers, and standards bodies.
  • Engage with investors to address ESG queries and provide necessary data and information.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and social sustainability requirements and prepare for audits.
  • Manage and advise on organizational ESG reporting, including the ESG Steering group.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in a global business environment.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in ESG indicators, regulatory requirements, and standards.
  • Solid understanding of corporate sustainability and global environmental issues.
  • A master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Data Science, Computing, or a similar field.
  • Training and education in project and production management.

 

About the department

The Data Management and Analytics team is part of the Global Public Affairs & Sustainability department at Novo Nordisk. We are a global team that focuses on providing data-based insights to support business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, and predict business outcomes. Our team analyzes data to identify trends and patterns, preparing ongoing reports and data visualizations to aid in data storytelling. We work with business intelligence applications and reporting capabilities to drive decision-making in pre-clinical, development, and post-market activities.
