The Position

As an Associate Business Intelligence Partner, you will be the strategic business partner that sits between the business stakeholders & developers and sets the direction for analytics initiatives. You will be entrusted with below major responsibilities:

  • Effectively engaging supply chain stakeholders & leaders, understand their business needs and deliver data-driven insights & decision making.
  • Onus to derive meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations to key decision-makers.
  • Capability, mentoring, and competence building within SCGBS network.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on BI tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BI and analytics, recommending innovative solutions to enhance capabilities.

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a Masters/Bachelors with 7-10 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role in Supply Chain.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data visualization principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI tools and technology with exposure in Power Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), etc..
  • Experience in SQL, data querying, and data manipulation is preferred.
  • Manages larger Advanced Analytics initiatives and has extensive experience in applying Agile / Design Thinking techniques.
  • 3 years of experience leading small cross functional project teams.
  • Agile practitioner as a toolbox for project management and workshop.
     

About the department
Supply Chain was established in March 2017 as part of Product Supply Devices & Supply Chain Management business plan towards 2020. The Business plan has three parts; Robust, Ready, Effective and Supply Chain Global Business Services (GBS) is part of the last one focusing business through offshoring. The unit is anchored under Supply Chain Planning (SCP) in Head Quarter and is the agreed place to consolidate Supply Chain activities across Novo Nordisk. The Supply Chain offshoring journey has started in D&S, Service Delivery Catalogue is taking form and other areas within Product Supply can soon join or add to the Catalogue to optimise costs and reduce complexity by operating an effective supply chain.
