About the Department

Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Head Quarters at Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. Commercial Analytics is part of Finance GBS and was founded in June 2013 with the idea of establishing a team consisting of dedicated analytics professionals to provide the best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service and partnership experience to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

 

The Position

As an Advanced Business Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand and work on International Reference pricing. Provide accurate pricing information to stakeholders.
  • Work on price business cases and provide insights. Support ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to execute key projects related to strategic pricing.
  • Mentor and supervise deliverables of other analysts. Train and coach new joiners or as needed.
  • Conceptual, analytical & tactical thinking, strategic thought process. Superior listening and critical thinking skills. Proven history of working and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines and changing priorities.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute.
  • Undergraduate degree in Pharma, Science/Biotechnology, or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in the Pharma industry, specifically in Pharma Pricing & Market Access.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities. Solid project management and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and basic VBA.
  • Working knowledge of IMS MIDAS database and SAP (Business Warehouse or Business Objects).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI Dashboarding.
  • End-to-end project management of the tasks. Mentoring and supervising deliverables of other analysts.
  • Training and coaching to new joiners or as and when needed. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill and efficiently communicate analytic insights into simple key messages (both orally and in writing – fluency in English).
