What’s behind the title?
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and identifying potential threats to our organization, while also providing actionable intelligence to our security teams to help prevent and mitigate security incidents.

Moreover, you are to

  • Analyse and interpret security data to identify potential threats, including tracking and reporting on new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  • Create and maintain threat intelligence reports, including indicators of compromise (IOCs), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and contextual information on threat actors
  • Collaborate with internal security teams to develop and refine security policies and procedures based on threat intelligence
  • Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to identify, track, and analyze malicious activity
  • Participate in incident response activities as needed, including triage, investigation, and remediation

 

Candidate profile
We expect you have a background in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or other relevant field and at least 3+ years of exoerience in a Threat Intelligence role.


You also have:

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in threat analysis and intelligence reporting
  • Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, attack methods, and vulnerabilities
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and techniques used in threat intelligence analysis, such as SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, and open source intelligence (OSINT) tools
  • Relevant certifications, such as the Certified Cyber Threat Intelligence Professional (CCTIP), SANS GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), or the EC-Council Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), are a plus

 

You have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, above all business understanding and curiosity is a must. If you are positive, and pragmatic, with a heart beating for information security and a good (or bad) sense of humor, you will fit in great with colleagues from Global Information Security.
 

About the department
The Global Information Security (GIS) organisation is mandated to secure Novo Nordisk IT landscape. You will be employed in Global Security Operations that consists of teams in Denmark, USA and India. The activity level is high, and many major initiatives and projects are ongoing, making this an exciting place to work. We work closely with our colleagues in Global Security Operations and DD&IT, which fosters a high level of knowledge sharing and makes the team an exciting place to work.
