The position

As a Finance Partner, you will be responsible for the financial management of a dedicated line of business area. The role entails a broad range of tasks, such as:

  • Working towards the global line of business, becoming a member of organisational leadership teams
  • Driving financial planning and resource allocation towards strategic priorities
  • Creating financial insights for decision making
  • Providing input to business cases
  • Providing financial transparency through reporting to senior management

 

Furthermore, you will be involved in various projects to drive improvements in the way we execute on the financial planning agenda including adoption of new digital tools as well as preparing ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders in both the R&D organisation and in Business Finance.

Qualifications

Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in business administration or economics and have 1-2 years of experience. Other success criteria are:

  • Strong analytical skills, while good at keeping an eye for the overall purpose
  • Clear and precise communication with people at all levels in the organisation
  • Good collaboration skills

About the department

R&ED Finance is part of Novo Nordisk Business Finance and is responsible for the financial management of the Research & Early Development organisation and projects in our pipeline. In R&ED Finance you will be part of a young and ambitious team consisting of 15 dedicated employees in Denmark, supported by colleagues from Global Business Services in India. Our overall ambition is to create impact through Finance Partnering to our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. To do this, we collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through close sparring, frequent feedback and by giving inspiring tasks and a high degree of responsibility.
