The position

As our new HSE/HR specialist you will develop and implement health, safety, and environment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This includes conducting risk assessments, delivering training programs, investigating incidents, and maintaining accurate records. You also will serve as the primary point of contact for HSE-related inquiries and coordinates with external agencies or authorities. You will drive most suitable for the organization implementation of the new commercial effectiveness solutions as well as drive best practice sharing culture and serve as critical strategic partner to sales management teams in Affiliate. The position is based in Kazakhstan (Almaty) and provides support to CEM countries

 

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Coordinate talent attraction efforts, including business cases and welcome kits, and ensure all new starters receive a professional induction process and onboarding/offboarding procedures.
  • Ensure SAP HR system is up to date with accurate employee information and records.
  • Support and lead P&O-related projects, including contract management and vendor creations. Stay up to date with changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices, and ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, deliver HSE training programs, and educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, analyze root causes, and maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.

 

Qualifications

As HSE/HR specialist you have to have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism. You have to be excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.

To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or legal
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR support or administration, specifically in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or Crisis Response and Management (CRT)
  • Familiarity with HR processes and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fluent English
