The position

As Clinical Medical Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating execution of clinical trials related to New Therapy by providing medical/scientific expertise, training, advice, and support to CDC and affiliate clinical teams based on interactions with KOLs, independent professional associations, and patient advocacy associations as necessary.

 

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Collecting early scientific insights and discuss relevant early development data with external medical and scientific experts optimizing the feasibility process for the clinical trial,
  • Identifying and regularly engaging with clinical experts in relevant TAs to obtain guidance relevant to clinical trial execution and contribute to delivering successful clinical trials (phase I-IV) in collaboration with CDC/affiliate clinical teams,
  • Driving scientific discussions at site selection and initiation visits, performing ad hoc visits, supporting attendance at investigator meetings,
  • Providing leadership in the scientific community within New Therapy Areas conducting advisory boards, scientific meetings, engaging with local associations for HCPs on relevant topics,
  • Supporting process on Investigator Sponsored studies by contributing to the evaluation of proposals and ensuring follow-up after approval in close collaboration with local Medical Affairs team,
  • Co-creating strategy and close collaboration with clinical and medical.

 

Qualifications
You are an experienced professional; you should have at least 3 years’ experience in the pharma industry in medical function. You should have excellent command over both written and spoken Turkish and English.

 

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery and post-graduation in any of the clinical or para-clinical stream is a value addition,
  • You should be an expert in the therapeutic area (cardiovascular or nephrology would be considered a plus),
  • You have the ability of understanding the specificities, nuances of the local healthcare infrastructure and pharmaceutical drug development,
  • You have the ability to communicate internally and externally, and excellent and proactive communications skills to manage the stakeholders,
  • You are a high performing person and able to easily set the directions and the strategies with a leading and coaching skills,

As a person, you have an ability to communicate with impact and to be innovate in a changing environment.

 

About the Department

The Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory Department is a team of skilled and committed specialists within medical, clinical, clinical medical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and safety areas.

The Clinical, Medical and Regulatory department is poised for growth as it embarks on the establishment of a Clinical Development Centre as well as expanding its Clinical medical collaboration roles. This expansion is focusing on the preparation of new therapy areas for Novo Nordisk, including chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, liver conditions, and Alzheimer's disease. With a strong commitment to advancing healthcare, this department is at the forefront of pioneering innovative solutions for these challenging medical conditions.
